This bowl turned out so lovely. The handcarving on the outside allows the white glaze to drip perfectly through the design, and the dark clay brings out beautiful shades of blue in the glaze. The inside is a happy, cheerful light green. A beautiful showpiece, fruit bowl, or splurge and eat your cereal or soup out of this beauty!

Meet the Maker
Hello! I’m Carrie, the face behind Meandering Stream Ceramics! I took my first pottery class in January 2023, and was hooked. Now I need to sell some pieces to make room in my house, and to support my habit. ;) I’m often inspired by nature and the colorful world we live in.
My day job is teaching singing lessons! Music is my first passion. My husband is also a musician - we met in music school! Our family is rounded out with our 2 adult kids, and our rescue doggo Bailey. We live in the far west burbs of Chicago, but have family connections to Northern Michigan and Newfoundland, Canada. I am often inspired, and awed, by the beauty of where we grew up.
How it’s Made
This bowl is wheel grown with dark brown speckles clay. The white glaze drips down the sides, contrasting beautifully with the hand carved pattern in the dark clay. The inside is a cheerful light green color. The glazes are all hand brushed, and all are food safe.
