Meet the Maker
Hello! My name is Jennifer and I an an accountant by trade. I began knitting about 20 years ago. I recently began knitting every evening as a way to unwind and destress.
In 2023, the company I work for was looking for hats to be donated to their Medical Mission at Home. I knit 11 hats over the course of a few months for donation. Because of that, a coworker reached out to me and I received my first commissioned order.
I started this shop in order to earn money to continue to donate hats. I will donate one hat for every hat sold. In addition, I will donate 10% of my profits to Enfield Safe Harbor, a warming center for the homeless in my hometown.
When I am not knitting, I can be found with my three children, two grandchildren, or my cat Ashley. I volunteer on a couple of town committees and a board of a non-profit organization.
