This item is cut from pine material used in stairs.
The center hole is cut using a CNC machine. Then I use a router to smooth it out.
Next I hand sand the hole and use a machine sander to sand all the surfaces.
I stain this in a dark wood called 'Honey'.
I let it dry, then assemble the item by driving 3" deck screws downwards into the legs.
I then add 4 metal brackets.
I add a spray protective finish
