How it’s Made
These are difficult to make with many steps involved so I will just bullet them out.
Acquire long premium pine boards.
Cut boards in 24 inch segments.
CNC machine cuts out the hole and the outline of the item, and the holes for the hooks.
Use a router machine to bevel all edges, including the inside of the hole for smoothness.
Hand sand the routed edges vigourously.
Machine hand sand the top and bottom.
Vacuum remaining dust.
Stain, clean and dry the item.
Install the 27 hooks by hand and electric screw driver. This part is tricky because the hooks need to be symmetrical. I tried to make a template once, but it's easier just to eyeball it.
Give it 1 last spray of protective coating.
Package and send. Whew! I like the last part of this process.
