About this Product
Celtic Eagle - The eagle symbolizes strength, security, leadership, dexterity, focus and authority. It is also a symbol of maturity and growth. In Celtic mythology, the eagle is traditionally seen as one of the oldest of all creatures, surpassed only by the salmon in wisdom and age.
The Eagle of Gernabwy features in the Welsh Mabinogion. In the tale of Culhwch and Olwen, one of Culhwch’s tasks, to win the hand of his beloved, is to find the missing and rather magical child called Mabon.

Meet the Maker
I'm a huge fan of history and archeology. I'm fascinated and inspired by ancient metal-smiths and incorporate ancient Celtic, Pict or Norse patterns in my work. I'm excited to blend my skills into a wearable interpretation of Celtic art.
How it’s Made
Each item begins as a piece of sheet metal, copper, bronze, brass or nickel. After a pattern is transferred to the metal, the piece is etched in a salt-water solution. Each piece is hand cut, sanded, and polished. A patina may be applied or it may be hand painted with dye oxide. A clear polymer coating is applied.
This piece is copper.
