Hello! I’m Magui (pronounced just like "Maggie"). Originally from Argentina, I moved to the U.S. over 25 years ago, bringing with me a love for arts and crafts that began in my childhood at a Waldorf school. That early creative foundation inspired a lifelong passion for learning and perfecting new skills.
Now living in Longmont, Colorado, I handcraft every bar of soap in my home, infusing each one with care and dedication. I’m thrilled to share my creations with you and hope they bring a touch of joy to your daily routines. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
How it’s Made
Our Green & Beige Chaga Soap is crafted with care, combining the power of nourishing botanicals with the artistry of natural colors. We start by brewing reishi tea, which is blended into a base of rich oils and butters, including coconut, olive, almond, sunflower, and babassu oils. This mixture, along with shea butter, provides a moisturizing and luxurious lather that gently cleanses the skin.
For added antioxidant benefits, we incorporate chaga powder, which helps to protect and rejuvenate the skin. To achieve the unique green and beige swirls, we use natural clay and a touch of chrome oxide. This not only enhances the soap’s visual appeal but also provides gentle purifying qualities that leave the skin feeling refreshed and balanced.
The bar is lightly scented with an aromatic blend of bergamot, black tea, and rosemary essential oils, giving it an earthy, herbaceous fragrance that adds to the natural experience. A sprinkle of lavender buds on top adds a finishing touch, making each bar a beautiful and unique creation.
After being hand-poured, each bar is left to cure, allowing the ingredients to harmonize and develop their full skin-nourishing potential. The result is a soap that’s as lovely to use as it is to display, perfect for anyone looking to bring a bit of natural beauty into their skincare routine.
