Our scars do not define us. They are a reminder of the wounds suffered from others, of ourselves, of our lives. Life is a struggle. It’s not meant to be easy. But sometimes we are impacted by others and our own patterns that must break. This came close to a cursing salt... but stopped short of breaking those chains. Returning shitty energies from others. Not everything is light and love. Not everything is a warm blanket on a cold day. Sometimes dark is best met with a bit of that darkness. Coldness. Absence. Silencing the loud. Entering the void. Working on the edge of darkness, but not stepping over the precipice.
