The friendly chameleon is a perfect gift for an adventurous kid, or a great companion for the home. The colorful chameleon was hand knitted with mixed yarn (acrylic and wool) in a smoke free environment. The toy has plastic safety eyes, and the stuffing is polyfill. Head and body are approx. 10" long. The toy with curly tail is approx. 16" long, and 8" wide around his tummy.

I learned how to knit when I was 8 years old. I wanted to knit clothes for my dolls, and my mother gave me needles and some yarns. I enjoy making knitted toys, especially stuffed small animals.
My sister was always fascinated with people using pottery wheels. She likes the clay's softness and malleability. The clay doesn't' always do what the potter wants. Finding the balance between her hands and clay's plasticity is almost a Zen moment for her!
