Music notes are filled with "Pearl White" epoxy to contrast the walnut wood.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not use "black" rubber feet because black tends to smudge and/or leave dark marks on your countertops and/or table. WE ONLY USE CLEAR RUBBER FEET TO HELP PROTECT YOUR COUNTERTOP FROM BLACK MARKS.
Two handles are installed as a convenience to help you carry your food on the tray.

Meet the Maker
Growing up in a small town in Ohio, Ken worked for his father building custom homes. During this time, he developed a profound understanding and appreciation for every aspect of carpentry.
In 1976, Ken and his wife (Sally) moved to Littleton, Colorado where they raised their two wonderful children. In 1985, Ken became a real estate broker and started his own successful real estate business, retiring in 2016. Ken also loves playing acoustic guitar and when he is not in the work shop, you'll find him performing at various venues as a solo artist in the Denver metro area. He also co-produces a monthly acoustic concert series, helping to showcase & promote various local talented musicians.
Ken's deep-seated love for carpentry was the inspiration that moved him to create Ken's Custom Woodworks. Our passion is to create custom, heirloom-quality home decor and furniture that our clients will cherish for generations to come. Each piece is thoughtfully made with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. We work with our clients to bring their vision to life, using locally sourced materials to create a truly unique piece. How it’s Made
The walnut wood is cut from rough milled lumber and I cut it down to size and squareness.
All my rough milled lumber is seasoned and has low moisture content.
I am a very meticulous woodworker (perfectionist). I sand all my pieces with 3 seperate grits of premium sandpaper and also water pop the wood 3 seperate times in between sanding grits helping to get that perfect finish for you. If I was not such a perfectionist I would not go through all these sanding/water popping steps but, all the pieces I make are heirloom quality. I will not settle for anything less.
Clear rubber feet are attached underneath the Charcuterie Tray to help prevent slippage on your countertops and/or table.
I only use CLEAR rubber and not "black" rubber feet. Why? Because "black" rubber feet will leave dark smudges on your countertops or tables. Clear rubber feet will not leave dark smudges on your kitchen countertops.
I finished this tray with FDA approved food save mineral oil and allow it to cure. After the oil has cured, I apply a coat of bees wax to seal in the protective oil and buff to a beautiful sheen.
