Meet the Maker

What do three sisters living in three different states do when they have all their trips and get together cancelled? We dust off our sewing machines and we sew!We grew up to love and respect the outdoors. We were taught to help others and to make the world a better place. And yes, Mom taught us to sew. With the Covid pandemic each of us saw the need to help others. Using our sewing skills we made masks for friends and strangers alike. Each sister donated hundreds of masks to help people stay safe and healthy. And we rediscovered our love of sewing. Now we have turned our sights to sewing environmentally friendly items that are fashionable, functional, and fun. Each item is designed to be reused repeatedly and to help you lessen your carbon footprint and reduce waste.

PS. Yes, we all earned our Girl Scout sewing badges!

How it’s Made

  • Each towel is made from pre-washed 100% cotton flannel. Towels are double sided with flannel or Birdseye fabric.

  • Surging the edges of towels increases their durability, preventing them from unraveling or fraying over time. This ensures that the towels maintain their quality and appearance even after multiple washes. Additionally, surged edges provide a neat and polished finish, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of the product.

  • Fabrics are selected for the designs. Each towel can be used 100s of times as a paperless towel eliminating the use for a disposable towel.

  • By investing in reusable paperless towels, consumers can significantly reduce the expenses associated with purchasing disposable paper towels. Over time, this not only saves money but also reduces waste and environmental impact. They are cost-effective and sustainable because of their durability and reusability.

  • Paperless towels can be used for a variety of household tasks, from cleaning spills in the kitchen to wiping down surfaces in the bathroom. They are also perfect for dusting, polishing, and even as reusable napkins for meals.

  • Their absorbent and durable nature makes them an eco-friendly alternative to traditional paper towels, reducing waste and saving money in the long run. After their life as a towel, they can be used as a rag for cleaning.

  • You can compost the towels. Using paperless towels significantly reduces the amount of waste generated from disposable paper towels, which often end up in landfills.

  • By opting for reusable alternatives, individuals can decrease their carbon footprint, as fewer resources are required for production and transportation.

  • The towels can also be composted at the end of their lifecycle to reduce environmental impact.
