Meet the Maker
Hello! I'm Eileen. I'm the designer and maker of everything for sale in my store. I am frequently asked how I came up with these in the first place. It's a good question, with a really long answer, but I will try to shorten it down for you.
In 2003, I was asked to design a harness for toddler skiing. It was a design that put a thought into my head that possibly some parents would like something similar to use for their child's safety rather than recreation. Have you ever had a child disappear in a crowd? That's a panic I have experienced! As it turned out, I am not the only person who thought this was a good idea. But still, a lot of people wanted something different. So, I developed my Houdini harness with the buckles in the back. And still other people wanted a harness that buckles in the front, so I created what I now call the Explorer. On and on this goes. I'm always working on a new option.
How it’s Made
All of the items in my shop were developed by me based upon requests and suggestions from parents and care givers. I design each one considering safety, functionality, durability, comfort, and some aesthetic appeal because we all like to look nice!
