Child size apron and chef hat for the aspiring chef.
The apron is made from cotton duck, so it is sturdy and holds it's shape. Hand cut bias tape, stitched on with decorative stitching, frames the edges.
The size of 16" in length, 12" in width makes it most suitable for the 3 to 6 age range, but please keep your child's size in mind.
Pouch across entire bottom is 5" deep.
The chef hat is a premade child size with hand cut matching bias sewn along the brim.

Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Andrea, maker of all things Cricket Pond. The little guy in the photo is my grandson, Eric, who inspired me to share my skills. He also inspired the name of our shop, when he always referred to "Creekside Market", the general store up the road, as "Cricket Pond". He's a teen now, but we still call that market "Cricket Pond".
We live in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, in Tennessee, and are blessed each day with the most beautiful and spiritual views.
"Making" has served me well in having things a little bit different. When my grandson was a baby, I searched for holiday sheets for his crib. The market was limited and expensive, so my math and geometry skills came in handy, and a Santa sheet was born. While there are many more sheet makers today, there weren't at the time, so I began offering them for sale online.
While I still do crib sheets, I add what inspires me at the time. Fingerless gloves became an item when I needed to warm my hands but keep my fingers free! Wristlets are great because they heat a pulse point, warming all over. Bring out my much-loved, very old and used, crochet hooks! Crochet is something my mother taught me when I was a young girl, and I love it like she did, so I made enough fingerless gloves to go with every outfit. I can spend time with the love of my life, my husband of many years (Wayne), and I can enjoy crocheting at the same time. Win-win.
