Our current Chinese Year of the Dragon highlights a set of charming home ornaments featuring beautiful dragon figurines encased in genuine seashells.
There are several different designs in this collection.
This one, being the largest, works well on its own, but it can also complement other similar ones from the set. An acrylic dragon, painted in beautiful shades of shiny, iridescent blues, greens, pinks, purples, and gold, is encased in a genuine seashell painted in similar hues. It functions wonderfully as a pendant and can also serve as an ornament, hanging on your wall or window, either individually or as a set, as shown in picture 10. You can even use it as a refrigerator magnet—just mention it when ordering, and I can mount one for you. A great housewarming gift and an excellent conversation piece. Truly unique and one of a kind, it's sure to make your day and your Year of the Dragon shine!

Meet the Maker
I am thrilled to be a part of the Go Imagine network. When I started my brand, I had one vision in mind: to help performance artists with their various challenges - stage presence, cable management, hardware, accessories, gear bags, and more.
As a performer myself, I was fully aware of how stressful these aspects can be. So, when my friends in the performing arts started reaching out to me for custom orders, I decided to make my products available to everyone.
The truth is, we all have our audience, and we all deserve a spotlight. Whether you're dressing up for a major performance stage or a family party, we want to feel and look special.
I'm also huge on sustainability. Most of my designs start from this garden and rescued objects that I reimagine into fashionable statement pieces.
How it’s Made
i handpick the seashells (usually in Long Beach - Long Island) can I find might make a good home for my dragons. The things that I take into consideration, the size, the shape, overall interest, whether or not, they have a hole in them, the color, and just general instinct.
I then pick out anperfect specimen, from the selection of dragon figurines that I have accumulated - I outsource from toys, vintage objets or broken jewelry.
I find a good placement that makes the pendant reflect the light well as well as turn on the desirable side.
Then I attach the shell and the dragon and the shell together, handpaint them together, as a unit, paying close attention to follow the natural shapes and curves of each piece.
I added glitter and crystals for decoration, and then I attach the whole piece onto a cotton string.
Please end up being a little bit heavy, although a lot of people with necklaces. The way that I recommend and used is in your flower or plant corner, near a window - they move and reflect the light beautifully.
