POUCH #1
This one is made from a chunky wool blend yarn in Ultramarine (dark slate blue) from France. It has specks of white. Made in an open mesh pattern with a solid bottom. Closes with a loop over a wood button that is a tied dye color of tan and blue
3 3/4" wide x 7" long - Strap is 40" long (stretched)
POUCH #2
This one is made from two thin wool blend yarns reclaimed from vintage sweaters - one is black (angora) and one is teal green, teal blue & bumpy (mohair) Made in an open mesh pattern with a solid bottom. Closes with a loop over a thick square teal green button
3 1/2" wide x 7" long - Strap is 46" long (stretched)

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
I have been collecting odd bits and skeins of interesting yarns for 20 years. Every so often I will rummage through a tote and pull out what catches my eye that day and see what it inspires me to make. Today I thought of making cell phone bags from wool blend yarns.
