Starting with a wire wreath frame, pipe cleaners or twist ties are evenly spaced around the frame to hold the mesh in place. The deco mesh—available in a variety of colors and patterns—is then gathered and attached in loops around the frame, creating a voluminous, ruffled base.
Once the base is complete, additional decorative elements like ribbon tails, bows, or themed accents are added to enhance the wreath's design. Ribbon strips in coordinating colors and patterns are cut to length, often with angled or dovetail ends, and then attached between the loops of mesh, adding texture and dimension.
