Fermented rice water is the liquid base of this unique solid shampoo, made with castor oil, hemp oil, coconut oil and sesame oil. It is moisturizing and won't strip your hair, leaving it soft and manageable as well as very shiny. The scents and oils aren't overpowering, but wake up your scalp and also can soothe dryness and irritation. Safe for curly girlies, free of all the nasty stuff. It's just soap!

Imperfect and Human consists of Lindsey and Aurora K, a mother-daughter team trying to solve their own skin- and haircare woes using products available through their family's orchard. At first they made lip balm and night cream with excess beeswax and honey, but soon they ventured into soaps, solid shampoo, housecleaning products, and more. There are so many people looking to use simpler products with natural ingredients, and to lower their environmental impact by avoiding excess packaging and unnecessary fillers and additives. Imperfect and Human seeks to help in that cause by using minimal ingredients and packaging, but maximizing the beauty and indulgence that comes from really taking care of your body.
How it’s Made
Rice is fermented in water with cinnamon and clove, then strained and combined with lye and oils to make a soap. Essential oils are added for scent and cleansing.
