Welcome to Radiant Jewel Studio, where inspiration is found in the untamed beauty of Alaska. For almost five decades, I have called this magnificent state my home, drawing immense inspiration from its breathtaking landscapes. It is here, amidst nature's organic allure, that my passion for handcrafted jewelry flourishes.
My journey into the world of jewelry making began several years ago, sparked by a quest to create heartfelt Christmas gifts for my cherished friends. As a mostly self-taught artist, I delight in the challenge of exploring new techniques and continually expanding my knowledge with every piece I create. There is a profound joy in transforming raw silver and exquisite gemstones into wearable works of art, each telling a unique story.
From an early age, I have possessed an innate desire to create and a curiosity for unraveling the inner workings of things. I vividly recall disassembling an old, broken radio as a young child, driven by the determination to fix it. While success eluded me that time, it ignited a lifelong passion for tinkering and exploring the world of craftsmanship. Over the years, I have fearlessly dismantled countless objects, always eager to uncover their hidden secrets.
In addition to crafting jewelry, my role as a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother of four and now a beautiful grandson who has brought immense joy and fulfillment to my life. Beyond the jeweler's bench, you can find me immersed in various creative endeavors, from quilting and gardening to refinishing furniture. But above all, the most precious moments are those spent with my beloved family, creating cherished memories that will endure a lifetime.
