This is a gorgeous pair of handmade citrine and oxidized sterling silver earrings featuring sterling wire wrapped faceted citrine briolettes that dangle from sterling silver chains and set with sterling silver ball studs with butterfly backs. The earrings have been oxidized and then polished to bring out the silvery grey highlights. They are 3 inches long from the bottom of the ball studs.

How it’s Made
I made these earrings by fire wire wrapping the Citrine briolettes with 26 gauge Sterling Silver wire and attaching them to each end of the chain with Sterling Silver wire wrapped beads and 24 gauge Sterling Silver wire. Then using 26 gauge Sterling wire, I attached the chain to the Citrine rondelle, securing the top and bottom with wire wrapped loops. I attached the drops to the Sterling Silver ball stud loop. Next the earrings were oxidized in a Liver of Sulfur bath, then lightly sanded to reveal the oxidized silver color. I really love the look of Citrine with oxidized silver.
