These lovely citrine and oxidized silver heart earrings are handmade and feature faceted citrine briolettes wire wrapped in sterling silver wire with textured elongated sterling silver hearts. The total length is 1 1/2 inches long from the top of the sterling silver ear wires.

How it’s Made
I made these lovely earrings by cutting, filing and forming sterling silver sheet into the elongated heart shapes. Then I debossed the silver hearts creating a floral pattern. Next I wire wrapped the citrine briolette teardrops with 26 gauge sterling silver wire. I then oxidized the hearts and the wire wrapped citrines in a liver of sulfur bath and then carefully polished them to reveal the wire highlights and the floral texture of the hearts. I made the shepherds hook ear wires with 20 gauge sterling silver wire.
