This beautiful handmade citrine wire wrapped Y necklace features a stunning 5 carat quantum cut rutilated quartz gemstone focal that shows lots of gold rutiles and sparkles for days! It is set in a sterling silver prong setting and is the center piece for the wire wrapped faceted citrine rondelle beads and sterling silver fine chain. The focal drops a chain of citrine beads and finished with a wire wrapped faceted citrine briolette. The necklace is 18 inches long and the pendant drop is 2 inches. It is set with a sterling silver spring ring clasp.

How it’s Made
I made this necklace by first setting the 5 carat Rutilated Quartz in the Sterling Silver prong setting. Then using 26 gauge Sterling Silver wire, I wire wrapped the Citrine rondelles to create the gemstone chain and finished with fine Sterling Silver chain. I attached the Citrine chain to the pendant with 26 gauge Sterling Silver wire and finished the necklace with the Sterling clasp.
