About this Product

Rusted steel garden markers help you identify your plants and add a bit of rustic whimsy to the garden!

You may find them elsewhere, but 81 Metal Art offers the originals!

Classic Garden Markers are cut from steel about as thick as a nickel. Each one is welded onto a sturdy steel rod.
These delightful markers will last for many decades of use. Very sturdy yet light-weight. They make a great gift!

The face of the garden stake is at most 8" wide for longer words or 3" tall for short words. Stakes are roughly 19" tall but two-word markers may be slightly taller.

Please note that this item is made of naturally rusted steel. Irregular colors are to be expected, and with time outdoors the entire item will turn a golden rusty brown. Rusted steel can stain fabrics and leave residue on your hands. Please be aware that the item may have sharp edges. Gardening gloves are recommended. This item is not intended as an indoor product.

Meet the Maker

We started our family-owned workshop with money saved on military deployments and downsizing our home. We began producing metal art and other parts with second hand equipment in June of 2014, and by Christmas of that year we were overwhelmed with orders from family and friends. During that season we both realized that we enjoyed being creative with metal art more than fabricating industrial parts, and we realized that art could be more than just a side business. We made it our foremost goal to come up with new and exciting products. Every single day we challenge ourselves to come up with innovative ideas and new, unique items. Using this approach, we've been able to expand our business into a larger workshop near our hometown and hire employees to help keep our shop running smoothly. With the help of ecommerce we're able to display and ship our items all over the world. Each order receives our personal care and attention to detail, and we encourage you to browse through our many reviews to come to hear from past customers for yourself. If you have a custom request -- large or small -- we would love to hear from you!
