This listing is for a 12 inch across Blue Crab Lazy Susan. It is cut from Maple wood. The image is an embellished painting of my original Blue Crab artwork. The crab is one of my favorite subjects to paint. I call this model. "Crab with Waves".
I cut the Lazy Susans from Maple wood, one at a time. My husband Mike and I cut, route the edges, sand, prime, sand more and then apply and paint the image. No two are exactly alike. We use a strong, made in the USA ball bearing hardware swivel on the bottom. The swivel is covered with another plywood round and bumpers are applied.
If this is a gift, I can add a nice, hand painted note card in the box when I ship.
The crab design is a favorite at the art shows that I participate in. People are usually amazed when they find that my Lazy Susans are made from wood. Most people think they are made from ceramic. I have many more Lazy Susan's available in the shop. I hope you can take a look around. I'd love to make something special for you!

Meet the Maker
Hi everyone, I am Janet Dineen, a handmade maker of Mosaic Art, Custom House numbers and Lazy Susans. Custom orders are my specialty. Feel free to ask about anything that you have in mind. Many times, the best ideas come from people like you.
I currently live in Aransas Pass, Texas where I am very lucky to have a home studio where I can work in the lovely air conditioning. My husband Mike and I work together on many of the projects, he cuts the wood and I paint.
We have a little dog named Dolly and her job is to keep us entertained and chase squirrels.
I welcome people into my home studio to visit or purchase something that I might have available. I hope to make something special for you soon. Cheers!
