Meet the Maker
Hi I’m Heather a mom of two boys. My youngest was born with multiple heart defects. He has had two open heart surgeries, surgery on his neck and another on his eyes. A few years ago he was diagnosed with autism. Earlier this year we learned he has a very rare genetic disorder called Puf 60 syndrome.
My crafting helps keep me sane. I started with cross stitch . After buying a Harry Potter resin kit for making frames to use for cross stitch I fell in love with it. I now own a Cricut and my crafting has increased into different venues.
I chose to start selling my craft to help pay for my son’s medical bills.
How it’s Made
I hand painted the wooden sign. Added sayings and decals printed using my cricut. Next I added fake coffee beans and poured resin with very fine glitter. It took two pours to finish. Lastly I did four coats of modge podge and the wooden section that did not have resin poured on it.
