Meet the Maker
Born in Minnesota, after graduating from High School he earned an associate degree in culinary arts. Dan took that culinary knowledge and gained experience through seasonal jobs in remote areas around the world. From a fly-in salmon fishing lodge in Alaska to a ski resort in Montana, then going more remote to a science research station on the north slope of Alaska near the Arctic Ocean, and onto the South Pole in Antarctica for a few years, before returning to Minnesota to start a family.
He started laser engraving as a hobby in 2021 that eventually turned into a business that he continues to grow and expand. He enjoys designing new items and doing custom commissions with a dedication to quality.
Dan lives in Saint Paul, MN with his teenage daughter Nellie, orange tabby cat Moosey, and German Shepard mix rescue dog Belle.
