Phil Darst is a multi media artist from Sarasota, Florida. Phil lives near beautiful Siesta Key Beach so he creates art about sand, sea, sky and sea-life. Phil also paints other subjects he thinks you may find of interest.
How it’s Made
First an alcohol ink background is painted on watercolor paper. Then each fish is skillfully drawn painted with acrylic paint and cut from canvas paper. Then a piece of wood is cut, glued to the back of the fish, then glued to the painted background. A unique one of a kind nautical art piece is read for your wall or a treasured gift.
