I make jewelry because I love the process of creating. My goal is to share with you individual and unique jewelry designs that are affordable - jewelry you want to wear everyday! I love the process of creating and sharing what I make with others.
Aurora Metal and Glass is an individual artist shop (just me) tucked away in the woods outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. Each piece I make is handmade from start to finish. I make all of the ring mountings and shanks by hand, and I use traditional cabochon bezel setting methods.
How it’s Made
Copper metal clay is used to mold the delicate texture from a real Alaska wild rose leaf. The metal clay is fired in a kiln, preserving the delicate leaf. Paired with natural stone fire agate and peridot beads. The ear wires are antiqued copper.
