This is a perfect transitional shelf for both traditional and modern homes. Dressed up, it can serve as the centerpiece of your room or can be at home in a trendy mudroom. The shelf top and corbels are made of Poplar wood, a furniture-grade wood that resists weathering and warping.

Our Corbel Shelves: We construct each shelf by hand using old-world quality and techniques. Our shelves are known for their sturdiness and, when installed according to instructions, will be an heirloom piece for many years to come. We lightly round the outer edges of each shelf for a softer look and feel, resulting in a beautiful appearance and touch. This shelf is 1” thick, and the corbels are also 1” thick. • A 3-step process of sanding and 2 coats of paint on each shelf • A hidden French cleat mounting system for added shelf support • Slightly rounded edges for a softer, more sophisticated finish • Poplar wood shelf top - longer-lasting against wear and tear.

Mounting Bracket: Made with sturdy wood, our French cleat system is one of the strongest designs on the market. We highly recommend attaching at least one anchor (screw) into a wall stud. We include 2 screws and 1 Toggler wall anchor in our hardware package. The Toggler wall anchors have a strength rating in excess of 75 lbs in 1/2” drywall. Installation instructions are included with the hardware package.

Paint Finish: We use top-of-the-line paint manufactured by Behr Paint Co. Our standard shelf is sanded and then painted with 2 coats of Behr Cabinet Door & Trim Enamel. For colors outside our standard selection, please refer to Custom Orders. To ensure you receive the color you want, we recommend ordering color samples from us or checking Behr color samples at Home Depot. Variations in computer monitors may not accurately match the colors in our listings.

Please note:  The colors shown will vary slightly due to computer monitor variances.  We do recommend that you visit your local paint store to obtain a color sample.  Below is a list of all the colors we use and the paint manufacturer that sells them.

Custom Orders: We offer multiple sizes and colors in our standard collections and strive to work with you to fulfill custom requests. Some custom requests may include additional charges. Each custom color will be an additional $25.

We offer sizes of 24, 30, 36, and 42 inches long with depths of 6 & 8 inches. Many of our shelves are custom-made, and we are happy to work with you on size requests.

If you want a shelf 34 ½ inches wide x 8 inches deep you would see our standard size 30L x 8D and the next size would be 36L x 8D.  You would select the 36L x 8D (this is the size you will pay for). 

For a shelf wider than 42 inches, message us and we will give you a quote.

Shipping: With every standard order, shipping is FREE. Our current production time is between 2-3 weeks. Reach out if you need something faster, and we will make every attempt to get it to you sooner. Depending on size, weight, and rush shipping, additional costs may apply.
