About this Product

I was raised in southwest Iowa and mid-Missouri, deep in the corn belt. Both sides of my family were farmers, and I grew up around corn bins and harvesters. My grandfather on my dad's side grew sweetcorn, and it became a family staple. One of my uncles has the family record of eating 38 ears of sweetcorn in one setting. And my grandfather's casket spray was field corn and sunflowers.

Corn means a lot in my family. I suspect it means a lot in other families, too.

So this card is meant for those folks. This irreverent joke won't make sense to a lot of people, but it would to those who grew up amongst the tall stalks and tassels of fields of this staple of crops.

This one is for you.

This greeting card is blank inside, allowing you to write a personalized message. San Diego artist Corey Johnston illustrated the scene on the front, wrapping around the folded crease to create a unique handmade card. Your purchase supports the handmade artist community, creating original and unique gifts you won't find anywhere else!

  • Single Card: This is a handmade greeting card that measures 5x7 inches in size. White envelope is included.

  • Write Your Own Note: This greeting card is blank on the inside and perfect for celebrating your friend's birthday any way you wish.

  • Colorful Floral Illustration: This greeting card features a delicious ear of bright yellow corn on an blue textured background.

  • High-Quality Prints: Each card is printed in-studio individually using an 8-color dye-based ink printer on 80lb/215gsm professional matte double-sided photo paper, which brings out the lustrous colors and detail.

  • Handmade in the USA: The tomato image has been illustrated by artist Corey Johnston using Procreate on the iPad, making the image a handmade special edition.

Shop Reviews (3)

I'm a returning customer. My first order was specifically for myself, while this second order was for others. I enjoyed browsing through all the card designs and really appreciate the single card options. It allowed me to buy three different cards for three very different individuals. Once again, the cards arrived in perfect condition, and they look even lovelier in person. This is a wonderful shop for unique cards, stationary, and more!

I purchased two of the "2025 Illustrated Teacups Flip Art Calendar, 7x10"". This calendar is soooo pretty. I like that it is smaller than "normal" calendars. The calendar months/initials of the days of the week, and dates are easy to read. But the beautiful teacups, of course, take center stage. The quality of the printing is beautiful. On the back of the calendar is a story behind the teacups that were used for the art. I used to collect teacups and teapots, I had waaayyy too many. This calendar is a perfect replacement. I purchased two, one is going to a close tea-loving friend for her birthday/recent retirement; and the other one I'm keeping for my self. ♥♥

I purchased a set of waterfall cards from Coreyartus Imagery, but I don’t plan to use them as greetings; I actually purchased them to use in my personal meditation practice. When I saw Corey’s waterfall scenes, I fell in love with their ability to transport me into a different world. They’re even more beautiful in person. I’m really pleased with this purchase as well as the great customer service and thoughtful packaging by Corey. Such a wonderful shop to buy from!
