This pattern is written for an experienced beginner level. The pattern isn't difficult but there are a few "moving parts" as you would expect from a proper cardigan. Slip stitch seaming, hem and neckline work all give it an elegant look you would expect to find in a resort shop.

The pattern recommends natural fibers like lyocel, cotton, tencel or bamboo for warm weather comfort. As shown it is made from Botanic lion brand yarn in the color walnut . A big pattern update for 2023 has an extensive section on yarn substitutes for this garment.
