Meet the Maker
I create durable one of a kind crocheted rag rugs by up-cycling clean vintage fabrics that may be machine washed. Rag rugs are my creative passion. I take the time to do my very best work with each and every one, paying close attention to detail because I like all transactions to be honest and fair whether I am buying or selling. Trying to do my small part in not adding more fabrics to our earths landfills and oceans. I work with 100% reclaimed, recycle cotton/poly blend fabrics that are available to me in my area of southern Missouri. This is one of the creative skills that has been passed down from generation to generation.
How it’s Made
I scout for used fabrics, mostly linens, clothing, tablecloths, curtains that contain cotton or cotton/poly blend, clean my treasures, remove seams and hems, cut with scissors into strips, machine sew end to end and sew across again for added strength, hand tri-fold raw edge inward, roll into balls. When I get enough fabric cleaned and processed I crocheted with my mothers hand carved wooden hook into decor for your floor.

Returns are accepted at buyer shipping expense, rug must be in clean undamaged condition as it was received. Please contact me before returning as I wish my customers to be happy with the products that I create.
