"Invitation to the Underworld" , this crow art print is from a watercolor original painting that was part of a series focusing on the mystical and spiritual symbolism of birds in mythology.
Being linked to several powerful underworld gods and goddesses, such as an Morrigan, Hekate/Hecate, and of course Apollo, their presence still signifies omens and prophesy to many that aren't even of the old ways.
( Fun fact, they are incredibly smart creatures with theory of mind and their behaviors of predicting human behavior patterns and showing up on battle fields to pick at the fallen initially earned them this link with prophesy.)
