About this Product

This playful pottery cup celebrates the sass and spirit of the crow. A bold black crow, mid-caw, takes the spotlight with the word “f-CAW-f” stamped across its body, framed by a golden medallion with leafy vines. The cup itself is richly textured—leaf patterns rise along the top, while the base swirls with deep purples and earthy tones. Both functional and full of personality, it’s a perfect vessel for your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or a little something stronger. This piece brings together whimsy, texture, and everyday function in true ArtShack style.

How it’s Made

? How It’s Made

  • Each cup begins with hand-rolled clay slabs, which are shaped and joined to form the vessel.

  • The surface is textured with hand-pressed leaves and patterned rollers, giving it layered depth and detail.

  • A medallion featuring a crow is stamped and carefully attached, with “f-CAW-f” carved into the design.

  • After drying, the piece is bisque fired to harden the clay.

  • Multiple glazes are applied: deep purples for the base, warm golden tones around the medallion, and a rich black crow image.

  • Finally, it is glaze-fired at 2300°F to create a durable, food-safe finish—ensuring every sip of coffee or tea comes with a touch of personality.
