Our self lined vests provide kid fashion friendly styles with non exposed seams and reinforced stitching. They are designed and manufactured out of cotton, with machine washable, plastic covered magnetic* snaps for easy closure, greater stability, and safety precautions.
*Check with your physician if there are concerns with magnets and medical equipment.
*Machine washable. Weights must be removed prior to washing.
*These are available in size 4/5....child weight 35 to 45 pounds.

Meet the Maker
I began sewing at age seven and ultimately envisioned myself as a child educator, special needs product designer and advocate. In 1975 I entered a graduate program at the University of Connecticut to incorporate those ideas. I ultimately earned two master's degrees in Clothing Design for Children with Special Needs and Rehabilitation Counseling/Education. Years later, I combined my sewing skills, degrees in rehabilitation and special education, motherhood and lifelong experiences, to bring that initial career path to fruition.
It has been a long labor of love, with my sewing machine and seam ripper as my "best friends" but the products that have evolved through this process are delightful and functional on every level. I'm sure they will help your little ones benefit as needed and most of all....have fun doing so.
