About this Product
My custom portraits are 100% personalized just for your family using your likenesses from your family photos and clothing choices. I do not use templates or 3rd party artwork, and I will work with you one on one to ensure your family is authentically captured. I have been drawing family, home, couple, pet and wedding portraits for over 12 years now, and my portraits have been seen in the New York Times, Design Sponge, Babble, Popsugar, Hello Wonderful and Cool Mom Picks.
This artwork is created solely by me and made to order with your personalized family portrait. Please note that my turnaround time is typically about 1 week or less for a draft. Revisions are made within 24 hours and digital files are delivered within 24 hours. Add-on art prints ship within 2 days of proof approval, and canvas and framed art prints ship within 5 days of proof approval.
The listing is for a digital file of a 2 person portrait for $90. Below additions can be added from the drop down menu options:

Prints can be purchased as a separate listing in my shop in a variety of options including fine art paper prints, canvas, floating framed canvas, and framed art.
My portraits are hand drawn, so I can create any portrait you can imagine - special themes, characters, poses, backgrounds, stuffed animals, etc. I love drawing the details - so don’t hesitate to include your favorite printed dress, your pet's favorite toy, or child’s mismatched socks and crazy bedhead. It is those special details that will make the portrait feel like “us”.

I am kadie, the sole owner and illustrator of Henry James Paper Goods. I have been selling on online marketplaces since 2011, when I was finally able to pursue my dream of being a freelance artist after working as a children's shoe designer for many years - a job that I loved but took me away from my family far too often. I am beyond grateful for all my wonderful customers who help make this dream continue to be a reality. I have been drawing my whole life and enjoy every minute of it. Each piece of custom work I create for you is made as if I am creating it for my own family.

How it’s Made
Photos and details can be added during the checkout process by uploading photo files and text to the allocated fields - but feel free to simply message me if that is easier for you! A group photo is helpful for height and body shape, but not necessary. Most importantly, it helps to have clear front views of each person’s face to best capture your unique likeness. Please let me know approximate heights and eye colors if it is not obvious in the photos. Feel free to include photos, website links, or descriptions of clothing choices. I can also choose clothing for you if you prefer.
Next, I will email you with a proof of your custom portrait within the expected timeframe which is typically 2-4 business days, or up to 3 weeks during the holidays. I am happy to make reasonable revisions to the proof at this stage to make sure you portrait is perfect. Revisions are made within 1-2 business days.
Once approved, I will deliver the hi res digital file, or if you added an art print, I will print and ship within 2-5 business days.
