RiverWood Forest encompasses all of what magic and wonders our environment is loved for and greatly honors these aspects of our world by preserving all its greatness and wonder both big and small. With illustrations from the fairy-like imagination of the artist, animal rescuer & environmental activist, Tina Schofield, RiverWood Forest will help you express your love for the magical worlds from around and from within you in your everyday life with beautiful and stylish high-quality designs that give back to our environment and communities in so many ways. Tina Schofield has been working as a professional independent illustrator and licensed surface designer for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. Since then she has tutored and taught art professionally from pre-school-aged children to senior citizens, has judged many local art shows, and worked for in-house printing companies, and in the corporate design tabletop and gifting industry. Her work can be found in high-end designer boutiques, known retail stores, and places like The Vatican and The White House.
Tina currently lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her rescue “co-worker” bunnies Strudel and Buddy. She loves to cook vegan dishes, tends her organic garden, belly dances, hangs out with horses, explores the outdoors, and travels to new places. In her spare time other than cuddling her bunnies she works to raise money for animal rescues, takes part in rescuing small animals, aiding environment conservation efforts, and continues to research the latest science to bring more environmentally-friendly products to our homes and everyday lives.
How it’s Made
When I create your pet's portrait a lot of thought and skill goes into illustrating something very special and memorable for each of your beloved pets. Once you send me your pet's (s) photo and what type and color of flowers you would like for the border, I will discuss with you your pet's personality, how you would like the border to look, and if you would like your pet's name in an illustrated banner within the border. Suppose there are elements your pet loves, such as a special toy, any special symbols that mean something to you or your family, or another pet of yours to be drawn together? These images, in addition to the reference photos received by you, will be combined into a rough hand-drawn digital sketch, then digitally painted in the colors until it is finished to look like the demo you see in this listing in an 8"x10" inch 300dpi size PDF style format that will be sent to you upon completion.
To paint your portrait I use Procreate and Procreate watercolor, ink, and gouache brushes and paper textures that I have scanned in myself.
