These books are crafted by human hands, meaning no two are alike. We try to line every corner up exactly but expect perfect imperfection and unique character in every handmade book.
These books are designed to see the cover only so there is no back cover - only the front cover on both sides so that you know what book it is regardless of how it is turned in the heart jar. The spine is just a solid color that matches the book cover.
HOW TO ORDER
Add Personalization - We need the link to your Goodreads list or book list that you would like your cylinder to include. Please note these cylinders only hold 50 books.

CARING FOR YOUR MINI BOOKS
+ Keep books away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the cover images including fading.
+ Store them in a temperature control room to shield them against potential damage caused by humidity and extreme temperatures.
+ While books should stay in good condition if kept in the aforementioned conditions if the cover pages start to curl, place them flat on a surface and press them with a heavy object for 12-24 hours.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations can ONLY be made within an hour of your order being placed. Each order is made-to-order and due to that nature, we can NOT accept returns or exchanges. The only exception is if there is a quality error on our end. Please reach out to me if there is an issue with your item within 7 business days.
LEAD TIME
Please check each listing for estimated production and shipping times. We try our best to update this information. Once the item is shipped, we have no control over its transit speed.

Do you accept returns, exchanges or alterations after delivery?
Due to the custom nature of the item we do not accept returns, exchanges or alterations after delivery. We ask that you communicate any specific requests through our message conversation during the order process. We only know about a specific request or preference if you specify it in your message. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests.
Do you send photos before you ship an item? What if I don't respond to my photo proof?
Due to the high volume of orders that we create and ship every day we are unable to send photos or create a mockup before production and shipment. We also sometimes share sneak peeks of customer items on our Instagram @TheScarletGiraffe
Do you offer rush production?
All orders will be processed in our standard 3-10 business days. If you need it SOONER you can purchase the Rush Order Fee listing in our shop and these items will be processed in 24-48 hours.
Please keep in mind that this does NOT include shipping time and once your item is shipped - we are no longer in control of how long an item is in transit.
What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?
"The Scarlet Giraffe" is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier or stolen -- all circumstances which are beyond our control. Once we hand your item over to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item. Please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department.
If a sale starts after I place my order will you refund the difference?
The price paid is the price of the item at the time of your order. For example, if the item is in 10% off sale a week after you order we do not go back and refund all previous customers that 10% off amount.
What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it's shipped?
If a customer's order is returned to the sender/seller for ANY reason the customer is responsible for paying for re-shipment. Please double and triple all mailing addresses before placing an order.
