You bring the memories—I make the newborn gown for your little one. You send us your old t-shirt. We cut it up and sew it into an adorable newborn gown. Then send it back to you to dress your cuttie! If you would like your t-shirt turned into a gown simply purchase this custom listing. You will be contacted immediately with the address to send your shirt to. Please include the order number with your shirt to prevent delays. I will inform you when the shirt has safely arrived. The graphic will be much larger on the tiny body we are dressing and wording/pictures may be cut off (see examples). We will do our best to display the entire graphic. The shirt needs to be an adult large and the logo need to be no wider than 10 inches. Once I have received your item please allow me 2-3 weeks to complete. This gown makes a great newborn boy gift, new baby gift or a take home outfit.

Meet the Maker
I remember as a child watching my Grandmother crochet and create beautiful gifts for family and friends. Every summer we would spend a week with her and I always asked her to teach me to crochet she would always try but we were never there long enough or often enough for me to really learn the craft. Even though my Grandmother never had the chance to teach me to crochet she did instill in me the love of handcrafted gifts from the heart.
I have always loved to make crafts it started with latch hook rugs, then needlepoint and eventually I did teach myself how to crochet but my current passion is sewing. I love taking a piece of fabric and transforming it into something unexpected.
After my second son was born I needed a creative outlet. Now that I was exposed to the world of boys (I grew up with two older sisters) I learned that there wasn't many options for boys at the craft shows that I often went to. I started looking for ideas of something I could make that would appeal to boys and girls when I came across the idea of making lounge pants out of old t shirts. I loved the idea of upcyling and who doesn't have an over abundance of t shirts?
Since I started this business in 2010 it has become much more than a hobby for me it is a way to express myself and stretch my creative muscles. I can never look at a t-shirt the same way again!

This item is made from your t-shirt. The item will be completed about 1 week after I receive the shirt. The t-shirt needs to be an adult large or bigger and the logo needs to be not wider than 10 inches.
