If you are looking for the peekaboo head and paws only sculptures, pet ornaments, or need something in a different size, please take a look at the other listings on my shop page, which range from 1 inch up to 6 inches.
Small accessories like collars, flowers, and a small sign are included in the listing price. For very large accessories, like pet beds or platforms for cake toppers, please make sure to purchase an option with a base. If you are unsure about whether a large specialty add-on will be included in the listing price, please send me a quick message before purchase, and I'd be happy to go over your project ideas with you first.
Shipping on custom work is always free, and always shipped out promptly with priority mail once your project is sculpted and photos of the sculpture are customer-approved. Processing times can vary depending on the time of year (wedding season and winter holidays are longer), but times will be clearly stated in my shop policies, and a specific date with my next available spot will be assigned as your project completion estimate once you've placed your order.
You can send me a message and add photos of your pet by clicking the "Contact Maker" link in this listing. Please try to include at least 4 photos of your pet in good lighting from all angles (front, back, each side) so I can sculpt their markings correctly. I moved to Sunset Park, Brooklyn in 2006, and feeling inspired, started playing around with polymer clay to create little sculptures of my animal neighbors; a rat, a pigeon, and a cockroach. A friend thought they were so cute, he suggested I try to sell some of my creations. I started out selling simple little penguins. Within a month, I had a customer ask if I could make a custom order of her pet chinchilla. These days, most of my work is custom and much more detailed. I especially love making custom pet wedding cake toppers.
I work with high quality polymer clay and a clear high gloss glaze. Every pet is made individually by hand, without the use of molds. I prefer to mix my own colored clay to match each pet exactly. Instead of painting the sculptures, I carefully add tiny layers of color and texture with the clay itself. Time consuming, but I feel the results are much richer in color, last longer, and great care can be given to each of your special pet sculptures! :)

Handmade Promise
I have been sculpting and selling custom pets online since 2007. All of your orders are handmade by me, and only me, in the USA. I sign and date each custom project, and you will receive a signed Certificate of Authenticity with a unique serial number for your one of a kind original sculpture.
Processing Times
UPDATED June 2024: Average custom sculpting time is 2-3 weeks.
Processing times for custom pet sculptures can vary depending on the time of year (winter holidays and spring/summer wedding seasons usually have longer wait list times). I will always do my best to keep up to date and accurate information on creation and processing times for your custom projects.
Once an order is placed, a customer's project is reserved for the next available spot on my wait list. Each of your projects are special, and I take the utmost care to create them, so I can only take a limited amount of orders each month.
Shipping
All U.S. orders ship out promptly with free USPS Priority mail, after projects are customer approved.
Returns & exchanges
Due to the nature of highly customized sculptures, they are not eligible for returns under most circumstances. Photos of the sculptures are always sent to customers for their approval before custom projects are shipped out.
If a custom item is damaged during shipping, it may be returned for repairs or a replacement. If an item arrives damaged, please get in touch with me a.s.a.p. with photos of the damaged item and packaging, so I can help make things right!
