Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Kelly Hawkes. I am an art teacher, mother of two active boys and one collie named Tuka. I started Hawkeshollow when my boys were little and I wanted to create bedrooms unique to their interests and passions. I found with my art degree I could create the custom room decor myself and found great joy in doing so. I would love to share my skills and help you create that perfect space for your precious little one. I provide hand painted dresser knobs, switch plates, tissue boxes, wastebaskets and canvas wall art. Each piece is hand painted with great care. I really enjoy working with customers to assist them in bringing their vision to life. I look forward to working with you!
How it’s Made
These wooden wastebaskets are primed to insure proper color saturation. Each basket design is hand drawn and painted with great care. They are then sealed with 5 coats of satin finish for durability.
