PROCESSING TIME 3-6 WEEKS
Processing starts after I receive the shirts. This deposit covers design time and your spot in line. All pricing will be discussed before proceeding after I receive the shirts. After you approve all the design, fabric, batting, thread and quilting the final price will be made. You will get an itemized receipt on completion to know how your money was spent.
You will have to finish payment when the work is done. The quilt will be shipped out after full compensation.
Shipping not included
Size determines the amount of tshirts and fabric needed for the quilt. Complexity of design (rows vs scrappy look), sashing, borders, density of quilting, batting choice, fabric front and backing choice, and type of thread used all go into the price of the quilt. We will work together on price point to navigate what fits for you. I will go over all the choices and make it easy to understand.

PRODUCTION TIME:
It can take up to 3 to 6 weeks from the date that I receive your shirts (with possible extra time during Christmas or graduation seasons, see below). I have to put a wide range of shipping because Etsy’s system doesn’t understand I have to wait for your shirts to arrive. I need to receive your shirts within 30 days. If you need your quilt ASAP you can select "Rush" for an additional $100 and I will have your quilt in the mail within 7 business days of receiving your shirts.
HOLIDAY/CHRISTMAS ORDERS:
Due to a high volume of Christmas orders, cut off is SEPTEMBER FOR ALL HOLIDAY QUILTS. Quilt orders that are placed after this cut off, will arrive after the holidays. Thank you for understanding! Please message me with any questions or concerns.
FABRIC:
T shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, uniforms, hoodies, skirts, dresses, cardigans are provided by you. I can fill empty spaces with fabric or shirt backing if you don't have enough T-shirts at no extra cost. What CANNOT be used: Silky shirts, shirts with zippers, leather, and non machine washable materials.
Please keep in mind, one article of clothing makes ONE SQUARE.
100% quality cotton fabric is used for all sashing, borders, and backing.
DESIGN:
You will choose from high-quality cotton fabric backing, batting, binding, and also thread color for quilting. If you don’t know which or do not want to choose I can help or do it for you. I will make sure that the fabric and colors selected compliment the tshirts in your quilt.

Each square is one decal, so if you have a front and back on a shirt it counts as 2 squares.
More complex designs, borders, and sashing adds to the price. Wanting both sides of the quilt to be shirts will also increase the price. Size of the blocks is up to you, but I would suggest the size of the largest decal or what the majority of your decals are. Cheaper quilt options are large square blocks with straight rows.

CARE AND CLEANING:
This quilt is machine washable on delicate cycle and can be machine dried on low heat. Wear and tear will be based on how they are used and whether dogs jump on and off them, just like other blankets and your shirts.
HOW TO GET STARTED:
Once your order is placed you will receive a message with my cell number and instructions to prepare and ship your T-shirts with my address. I will text you with updates and to talk about the progress. If you are local you can come drop off and pick up.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please send WHOLE CLOTHES (no cut up pieces) that are freshly laundered and washed WITHOUT fabric softener. I will charge extra for having to wash myself. The fabric softener doesn’t allow the iron on fusible interfacing to stick, which reinforces the fabric and prevents any distortion during piecing and quilting while adding durability to the quilt when finished.
Once the shirt are received I will work with you on creating your quilt. Your involvement helps the process along since I do not move forward without approval for any part of the design phase. I can work on size, amount of shirts, and price point before continuing.
Once the size, design, colors, fabric, and price are approved, I ask that the deposit be brought up to 50% of the purchase price.
I’ll lovingly create the quilt in as timely a manner as possible.
Once completed, I’ll photograph the completed quilt and make a final custom listing for the remaining balance
Once the balance is paid, I'll ship the quilt.
My quilts are machine-pieced and professionally machine quilted on my longarm in my non-smoking home studio in Palm Harbor, FL. Quilts are NOT hand-tied. Machine quilting holds up to multiple machine washings and adds to the life of your quilt. I wash the quilt once before mailing it to you.

How it’s Made
Each blanket is handmade with meticulous attention to detail. Your shirts are careful cut out and heat fused to stabilizer. The shirt pieces are then cut and pieced together via sewing machine. The top along with fabric backing and inner batting is then racked on a long arm rolling frame and quilted with automated edge to edge quilting. The blanket is then taken off the frame, squared up and binding added to finish up the masterpiece. Each quilt is a unique work of art made of special memories with each piece of fabric.
