About this Product

BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, EXQUSITE CUTTING BOARD (WOW oh WOW)!

One of a kind, custom handmade in Colorado by a meticulous craftsman.

These make great wedding gifts, holiday gifts, home warming gifts and/or why not treat yourself to one.

This Heirloom Cutting Board features:

Made from premium hand selected Walnut, Maple and Patagonia Rosewood hardwoods.

Edge grain format = easier on the knives and easy to maintain.

Chamfered edges = add a nice design feature and softens the look.

Reversible = either side of this board can be used.

FDA approved food safe cutting board oil & beeswax is used for the finish.

Weight: 7 lbs

Dimensions: 11" W x 16" L x 1.5" thick

Hurry, this is one of kind design, that I will not be repeating.

OPTION: This is a reversible board which means you can use it on both sides. BUT, if you prefer to use only the top side (non-reversable) and want 4 rubber feet installed underneath to help prevent slippage...the cost to install 4 clear feet is $10.00 extra.

Why do I use clear feet instead of black rubber feet? Because black rubber feet tend to leave black marks on your countertop whereas clear rubber feet will not leave those unsightly marks.

Made in Colorado CB 34

Side Note: I have made over 50 cutting boards and no two are the same. My cutting boards have been sent to customers in 22 states. Each cutting board is unique and has it's own character.

Ken's Custom Woodworks

Meet the Maker

Growing up in a small town in Ohio, Ken worked for his father building custom homes. During this time, he developed a profound understanding and appreciation for every aspect of carpentry.

In 1976, Ken and his wife (Sally) moved to Littleton, Colorado where they raised their two wonderful children. In 1985, Ken became a real estate broker and started his own successful real estate business, retiring in 2016. Ken also loves playing acoustic guitar and when he is not in the work shop, you'll find him performing at various venues as a solo artist in the Denver metro area. He also co-produces a monthly acoustic concert series, helping to showcase & promote various local talented musicians.

Ken's deep-seated love for carpentry was the inspiration that moved him to create Ken's Custom Woodworks. Our passion is to create custom, heirloom-quality home decor and furniture that our clients will cherish for generations to come. Each piece is thoughtfully made with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. We work with our clients to bring their vision to life, using locally sourced materials to create a truly unique piece. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of creating a comfortable and warm environment in your home or office, and we strive to achieve that through our work and customer service.

Sanded with 3 different grits of sandpaper, along with grain being water popped in between each grit

Finish applied is FDA food safe approved cutting board oil and then sealed with a final coat of beeswax

PUBLIC NOTICE: I have never make a Cutting Board with the combination of wood and epoxy together in one cutting board.

Why? Epoxy is made from chemicals. But, hardened epoxy is almost non-toxic unless it is CUT by a knife. Epoxy is a resin and is easily cut with a knife verses using a knife on wood. By installing epoxy within a cutting board, you are defeating the original purpose of a cutting board hence, why do it? The knife cut creates micro particles or dust if you will, which can get into your food and ingested into your body. Over the long term, ingested epoxy can cause severe health issues. I always cringe, when I see a cutting board made with epoxy and wood together. A healthy safe cutting board should strictly be made from 100% wood.

Do I make Serving Trays with combination of wood and epoxy rivers? Yes I do and my customers love them. My customers/clients are always informed never to slice or cut food on a Serving Tray. Serving trays are designed to carry food and/or drinks to another location. They are not to be used for cutting food on them. My personal serving trays that I have made for our family have epoxy rivers running down the middle of them and they are perfectly fine as long as we do not cut on them.
