Take your pick from three unique bases: the charming wood wagon, the rustic wood crate or the elegant raised shelf. Each base is a canvas for our interchangeable inserts, providing a versatile and dynamic way to update your living space throughout the year. Crafted from ¼” Baltic birch, our wooden wagons, crates and raised shelves are made right here in Texas and come fully assembled.
Whether you prefer a finished insert set or enjoy hands-on creativity with DIY projects, we’ve got you covered. Purchase a finished insert set or opt for the DIY insert kits, the choice is yours!
Approximate measurements for each base:
Wagons: 12" long, 4.5" tall (bottom of the wheel to the top of the rail), and only 2.25" wide.
Crates: 10" long, 2.5" tall, and 2.25" wide.
Raised Shelf: 6.5" tall, 13" long, and 4" wide.
Our handcrafted items are laser-cut, painted or stained, assembled and sealed (except for the DIY Insert Kits). Colors may vary slightly from the pictures and all measurements are approximate.

Hi, I’m Tracey Hilborn, the maker behind Quail Street Designs, where Handmade Meets Heartfelt. After retiring from the corporate world, I turned my lifelong passion for crafting into a business that allows me to do what I love every day—create unique treasures that bring joy to others.
Based in Texas, I’ve been crafting, designing, and selling online for over 25 years, perfecting my skills with everything from laser-cut wood designs to custom creations for all occasions. Whether it’s a DIY craft kit, a personalized gift, or a home décor piece, I pour my heart into every item I make. My creations are inspired by my Southern roots, love for history, and a desire to craft meaningful items that spark connection and creativity.

Shop Policies for Quail Street Designs
Processing Time: All items are handcrafted, and processing times vary depending on the product. Most orders ship within 3-7 business days, but custom or personalized items may require additional time. Please refer to the individual listing for specific details.
Shipping Policies: I ship via USPS and UPS and tracking information will be provided once your order is shipped. Quail Street Designs is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. If your package is lost or damaged, please contact me to resolve the issue. Currently, I only ship within the United States and Canada.
Returns and Exchanges: Due to the handmade and/or personalized nature of my products, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective and at that time we will work with the shipping carrier. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 3 days of delivery, keep all packing materials and send photos of the damage, so we can work toward a solution. Custom or personalized items are non-refundable unless there is a mistake on my part.
Cancellations: Cancellations are not accepted.
Custom and Personalized Orders: I love creating custom pieces! Please message me with your ideas before purchasing, and I’ll provide a quote and estimated timeline. Custom orders must be paid in full before production begins.
Care Instructions: Care instructions (if necessary) are included in each listing or product packaging. For wooden items, keep them away from moisture and extreme temperatures for longevity.

Payment Policies: All payments are securely processed through GoImagine. I accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other forms of payment supported by the platform.
Local Pick-Up: Local pick-up is available for customers in the Crosby, TX area. Please message me to coordinate pick-up times. Payment must be made in advance through GoImagine.
