This is Vegetable tanned full grain dark brown bridle leather handcut to 1 1/2 inch wide . It has a stainless steel buckle that is attached with chicago screws so the buckle can be changed if desired. The edges were burnished and has a low shine to it. Slowly veg tanned, stuffed with just the right amount of waxes, greases and tallows and drum dyed for depth of color. Drum dying gives this leather beautiful, deep color. The tanner immerses the leather in dye before tumbling it in a drum to maximize dye penetration. In addition, this leather is veg tanned the old-fashioned way using a tightly-controlled, one to three-month process that utilizes tree bark and other natural tannins for leather that is prized for both its beauty and workability. To order, the best way to order a belt is to measure it as shown in the picture but if you don’t have an opportunity to do that I can work with a pants waist size. These measurements will be different your belt measurement is usually 2 or 3 inches larger than a waist size so just let me know what you are sending. I will make any size you need here in my shop in Maryland. I will put 5 holes in it unless you request 7 holes. Made in USA. I hand make everything in my shop myself, if you need it by a certain date please let me know. The shipping included in the price for this listing. I will be sending it first class. If you would like to have it insured and delivered faster please choose the priority shipping option. It is $3 more but your package will be insured and it will be delivered by USPS faster. I can refund or exchange anything I make but I must get it back in the condition it was sent.

I work out of small shop in my house in a small town in Western Maryland., I have spent years buying and working with different leathers from US suppliers so I can offer beautiful and durable leather items. Many of tools and methods I use are over 100 years old and some of my techniques are cutting edge using the best of old and new to make my custom leather items with durability and quality in mind.
I (with design help from my husband) design and hand make all of the leather items that are made to your specifications. All of my leather goods are made to order, so I make your item just for you. Most of my custom orders are ready to ship in 5-7 days.
How it’s Made
I get whole hides of full grain leather and cut them into straps and then cut those straps into custom made belts to fit you. I bevel and burnish all the edges by hand.
