Vegetable tanned leather is an time honored method of making a durable leather hide. It can take up to a year to turn a hide into finished leather . Using only bark from oak and other plants, cow hide is transformed into a supple yet strong material that can last a lifetime. Leather is a by product of the meat industry and only 1% of hides are made into leather. No animals are killed just to make our leather.
We only use suppliers that are environmentally responsible and do not pollute in the process of making leather.
Stainless steel snaps are four times as costly as nickel plated snaps. Most producers go the cheaper route. We don't. Our snaps won't discolor, rust or fail even if worn 24 hours a day. The snap will look the same a year or even ten years from when you received it.
