Dreary days are there for us to allow time to experiment with art. I love to repurpose my old paintings. Dearies No. 5 is the result of a dreary day. I originally thought to entitle this series the "Drearies" but thought it sounded too depressing.....It is an original watercolor on paper. It measures 9 x 12 inches and ships unmatted and unframed.

After a career in education I decided to dabble in watercolor. That 'dabble' became a passion. Much of my inspiration stems from my connection to the natural world. I am constantly on the search for new methods and materials. My work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
