Meet the Maker
Hi everyone, I am a graphic designer and web developer who also dabbles a bit in animation and photography. I am very passionate about what I do. It is a great feeling watching your work come to life and an even better feeling knowing you do what you love for a living.
I spent a great deal of my time as a developer working for the Cardiovascular research foundation developing materials for international conferences that hosted educational events honoring the leaders in cardiovascular and medical research. These events were joined by renown guest speakers from various backgrounds including Henry Kissinger, Arnold Schwarzenegger , Hillary Clinton and Magic Johnson. I have worked on many conference websites from Columbia University to Medtronic and many other supporting well known leaders in medical research. In other experience I have worked with West Point Military Academy Parents Club, NYC Fairs, Astro Place Hairstylist and other graphic studio in developing their materials. I have a great deal of experience in creating a number of things from websites to graphics to actual promotional items. My experience started very young working as a youth at the Door, University Settlement and Kings County hospital. I also spent a great deal of time tutoring for the learning research foundation where I instructed students in multimedia programming, design and animation.
I received my Associates Degree at BMCC in multimedia design and development. I continued my bachelors at NYCT but soon switched into an advance degree called the CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique Interdisciplinary Studies. I am pursuing a degree as a Dual Area's of concentration in web application development and animation.
It is important for me to encourage my children to get involved in STEM careers that focus heavily on skills attained through learning.
Everything in my store is handmade or designed by myself with the tools and resources I have gain access to through out my career.
How it’s Made
My decoupage technique involves selecting artistic images from designer paper napkins and applying them to primed surfaces using decoupage glue. After careful placement and smoothing out any wrinkles, the design is coated with an acrylic vanish or water-based polyurethane to seal and protect from damage. I opted not to apply additional layers of heavy colored paints because sometimes less is more.
These decoupage items are best suited for indoor use but can be maintained outdoors with coating of water-based polyurethane for extended durability against the elements. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these items, there may be slight variations from the images provided.
Processing:1 to 2 weeks. The typical turn around is five days per a small order. Very large orders may take additional time.
Shipping: 3-5 days USPS Priority Mail US. Our products are carefully packages to ensure added protect them during shipping.
Returns: We accept returns of products in their original condition if they are not custom orders. If you receive a damaged item I will issue a refund or exchange provided you send proof of significant damages with in 24 hr our delivery time and take the damaged item to your local post office.
