Meet the Maker
I've always been a maker, I love creating. I started making jewelry in 2000 when I decided to take a beading class with some friends. I enjoyed it so much that I took more and more courses in my spare time away from my interior design business. The more I made, the better I got, and soon I had people asking to buy the jewelry I was making. One thing we did was another, and after about a year, I left the interior design business, created a website, and started participating in art shows. I never looked back. I have been self-employed since 2002 and continue to participate in art shows to this day. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to learn how to do metalsmithing. So I took all of my classes on YouTube and I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned about the tools and the techniques that I'm still learning. I love working for myself and creating beautiful jewelry that people love. 14 karat gold fill wire is linked with the pearls to 14 karat gold fill chain which creates this beautiful necklace with a 14 karat gold fill magnetic clasp the method used is similar to wire wrapping.
