About this Product

This listing is for the DIGITAL version of the Garden Journal (For info on the pre-printed version, go here: https://www.twigandmoth.com/garden-journal). This PDF is formatted for 8.5" x 11" letter sized paper and for A4 sized paper (which is the most common size in much of the world - outside of the US). This PDF file includes the entire Garden Journal - the front and back covers as well as the 102 interior pages. Print out as much or as little as you like. Print from home or at your local (or online) print shop. And, yes! Please feel free to purchase once and print out multiple copies for your home school, nature study groups, home school co-ops, etc.

This is a garden journal, planner and log written and illustrated especially for kids! Included in this 102 page workbook / notebook are: ◾️ A Place to Record the Owner’s Name, Growing Zone & Frost Dates ◾️ Tips for Using this Journal ◾️ Information on Soil and Seeds ◾️ A Brief Introduction to Composting ◾️ A Bit About Useful Weeds ◾️ Suggestions for Seasonal To-Do’s in the Garden ◾️ Pages for Your Garden Plant Records ◾️ Places to Make Seasonal Notes ◾️ Pages to Sketch Out Garden Layout Ideas ◾️ And More! This simple and easy to use Garden Log was designed with children ages 9-14 in mind (but of course can be used by any age!). It makes a great gift when paired with one of the many fantastic kid’s gardening books out there!

I do my best to portray colors accurately, however different monitors (and cameras) will vary in how they display colors. For gift and personal use only. NOT FOR RESALE. Please feel free to purchase once and print out multiple copies for homeschool or nature study groups. Purchase does NOT transfer copyright.

Meet the Maker

Hello & Welcome!

My name is Alice, and I am an illustrator and maker creating nature inspired things (with an educational twist) for both kids and grown-ups alike. When I began to homeschool my oldest in 1998, I went looking for lovely, nature inspired materials. When I couldn’t find what I was searching for, I decided to create them myself.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
