About this Product

My DIY animal skeleton plush pillows from my Animal Anatomy Collection are the dark yet adorable accent you've been looking for in your gothic home or Halloween decor! Each of these DIY patterns is for you to have fun with in your own creative way. Use as a tea towel/dish towel (Wash on cold delicate and air dry. Do not bleach.) or follow the easy printed instructions where they can be cut out, sewn, and stuffed. These cut-and-sew tea towel patterns also make for great DIY gifts when you want to make something handmade for a loved one or give as a gift to someone who loves to sew!

What you will get with your order:

• You will get one 17” x 26" PNG file to download and print onto either paper or the fabric of your choice. I highly recommend using a hemp/organic cotton blend or any other eco-friendly fabric to keep the planet clean of microplastics.

What to do when you get your pattern:

• Print out and use as a charming rustic and functional tea towel, you can easily leave it as is and enjoy it as a dark cottage academic-style accent to your kitchen or dining room table, or use it to wrap your banked goods in!

• Create your very own skeleton plushie buddy as seen in the listing photos for you to enjoy as a plushie friend to play with or as a fun-shaped throw pillow!

What can I fill my doll/pillow with?

• I recommend any eco-friendly material such as any upcycled fabric, beans, lentils, rice, or organic cotton fiber. if you have an old stuffed animal or need to update your bed pillow you can upcycle that stuffing into your new creation!

How it’s Made

My illustrations were hand-drawn by yours truly using a .05 Micron ink pen while looking at multiple scientific anatomically correct photo references of each animal. I used the traditional stippling technique to fill in the darker areas to give the artwork an X-ray look. Because of this, I've had many veterinarians and vet techs go crazy over these designs due to their accuracy. If you like, you can find my sped-up drawings of these designs on my Instagram Reels under my artist account @dulcey4. I then scanned in all my drawings using my Epson designer-quality scanner, then used Adobe Photoshop and multiple mockups and proofs to create these easy-to-use beginner-friendly templates you see on the screen!
