About this Product

(DIGITAL DOWNLOAD) A realistic LED moon night light, CNC Files. You will be sent a PDF containing a downloadable Google Drive link to the Digital files for you to download. CNC digital files. VCarve/Aspire, AI, DXF, EPS, PDF, SVG, ) along with the 3D Moon model in various formats; .obj, .stl, .fbx. The 3D moon file can be used for other projects or even in 3D printing as well, multiple uses.

If you are using VCarve as your CNC program of choice, you will get the VCarve project file already set up with the cut paths you need, you'll just need to configure it to your machine. This was created on a OneFinityCNC. The VCarve file is set up in Metric and not Imperial, just in case there's any confusion when opening the file. Router bits used to create the project: 1/4th DownCut bit, 1/4th Ballnose Bit, 1/8th Ballnose Bit, 1/4th UpCut bit, and a 1/4th Compression bit. The current run time is roughly 28 hours, including the frame. This can be shortened depending on your machine limits or if you decide to skip the 1/8 Ballnose detail pass.

The pictured item dimensions without the frame are roughly 768mm or 30.25" in diameter, with the frame is 800mm or 31.5". The digital files can be scaled to whatever size you need based on your machine's parameters if it's too large, just know your end result may differ. The starting thickness of the wood used is 35mm, or 1.5".

You will need to buy an LED strip, which is taped/glued in place on the inside border of the moon carve, hidden by the frame which you will cut out separately. Not all LED strips are created equal. Some are spaced too far apart, or not bright enough. If you want the same result as what is pictured, the LEDs I used for this build can be found here: https://amzn.to/3HZNNqt

*These are digital files and can be downloaded after your purchase has been processed. NOTE: This is not a physical item, a downloadable digital item only. Welcome to my shop, my is Jason Craft. A native Minnesotan my journey into the world of arts and crafts began when I was just a kid, I was always creating/building things. Over the years, this childhood curiosity blossomed into a full-fledged passion for creating unique, handcrafted pieces that combine the rustic charm of wood with the timeless elegance of leather. Crafting is more than just a hobby for me; it’s a way of life. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of turning raw materials into something beautiful and useful. I love the challenge of bringing a new idea to life and the joy of seeing my creations find a place in someone’s home. Knowing that my work is appreciated and cherished by others is the ultimate reward.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I look forward to sharing my passion with you and hope you find something special that speaks to you.
